Alma Chesya is an Associate at Atama, focusing on corporate and commercial matters.

Since joining the firm, she has developed extensive experience advising both domestic and international clients on a broad range of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, foreign and domestic investments, banking and finance, and general corporate advisory matters. Her experience spans a wide range of industries, including financial services, logistics, healthcare, consumer goods and retail, manufacturing, and technology.

Her practice covers all stages of transactions, including conducting legal due diligence, drafting and negotiating transaction documents, and advising on transaction structuring, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance matters. She is recognised for her detail-oriented approach, strong analytical skills, and ability to translate complex legal issues into clear, practical, and commercially focused advice.

Alma obtained her Bachelor of Laws from Universitas Brawijaya, where she actively participated in both academic and extracurricular activities at the national and international levels. During her studies, she was involved in various organisations, including the Asian Law Students' Association, the Model United Nations Club, and the Business Law Community.

She also participated in and received recognition in national legal opinion competitions, the ALSA International Moot Court Competition, and the European Model United Nations, reflecting her strong legal research, analytical, and advocacy skills.
