Richi is a Partner and Co-Founder of Atama. He has more than 16 years of experience advising domestic and international clients on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, including both routine business operations and complex strategic transactions.
Richi's practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, inbound and outbound investments, data, media and technology, intellectual property, corporate investigations, and risk and compliance advisory. He regularly advises clients throughout the entire transaction lifecycle, from structuring and due diligence to negotiation, documentation, regulatory compliance, and post-completion implementation.
Throughout his career, Richi has acted for multinational corporations, private companies, investors, and emerging businesses across a wide range of industries. He is recognised for providing practical, commercially focused legal advice that aligns legal strategy with clients' business objectives while effectively managing legal and regulatory risks.
Richi obtained his Bachelor of Laws from the University of Surabaya in 2008, completing the programme in just 3.5 years. He then earned his Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Media and Information Technology Law from the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia, in 2009.
Richi is admitted as an advocate by the Indonesian Advocates Association (PERADI). He is also a certified Data Protection Officer accredited by the Indonesia Data Privacy Professional Association and a member of the Indonesian Cyber Law Community (ICLC).
His professional achievements include being recognised as a Future Legal Leader 2023 by Asia Business Law Journal and a Stand-out Lawyer 2026 by Thomson Reuters, reflecting his commitment to delivering high-quality legal services and trusted commercial advice.
