Togap began his legal career as in-house counsel at one of Indonesia's leading property development companies. He has more than 16 years of experience practising law at various leading Indonesian law firms, with a primary focus on dispute resolution, particularly civil and commercial litigation.

In addition to his dispute resolution practice, Togap has extensive experience in real estate and property matters. He served as a project manager for a major land acquisition project for one of the world's largest nickel mining companies and has advised on numerous other land acquisition projects across Indonesia for the development of factories, tourism resorts, and shopping malls.

Togap obtained his Bachelor of Laws, majoring in Civil Law, from Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia. He also earned a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Advanced Studies in International Civil and Commercial Law from Leiden University in the Netherlands.

Togap is admitted as an advocate by the Indonesian Advocates Association (PERADI). He is a native Indonesian speaker and is fluent in English.
